Mindful Creations
Hey everyone, I hope you're doing well! Today, I want to open up about a topic that's deeply personal to me—my experience with anxiety and overthinking. 🌟
Anxiety and overthinking have been constant companions on my journey through life. They've whispered doubts and fears in my ear for as long as I can remember. But you know what? Over time, I've learned a thing or two about managing them. 👍
Through mindfulness and self-awareness practices, I've been able to get to know my anxiety better. These practices have helped me identify my triggers—the things that set off my anxiety and stress—and learn how to deal with them. It's been quite the journey, let me tell you! But I've discovered that it's all about being patient with myself, remaining consistent with my efforts, and understanding that this isn't about reaching some end goal. It's a journey—a winding road with ups and downs, twists and turns. 🙂🙃
And you know what? That's okay. Because every step I take, every stumble I make, brings me closer to understanding myself better and finding peace within. 🍃🌸
Now, let me share how mindfulness and self-awareness practices have made a difference for me. One specific example is when I started incorporating deep-breathing exercises into my daily routine. Whenever I feel my anxiety creeping in, I take a moment to pause, close my eyes, and focus on my breath. It's amazing how something as simple as this can help calm my mind and bring me back to the present moment. 🌷
So, if you're dealing with anxiety too, know that you're not alone. And remember, it's okay to take it one day at a time, one breath at a time. We've got this! 💪
Sending you all the love and good vibes! 🌻

In today's fast-moving world, finding moments of peace and calm can be really hard.
But each day, we hear more about how mindfulness—taking time to relax and think deeply—can help us feel better and stay calm in our busy lives.
Sometimes, though, mindfulness seems difficult, like we have to do long meditation sessions for hours!
From my own experience, I've learned that mindfulness doesn't have to be complicated.
By adding simple things to our daily routines, like taking a few minutes to breathe deeply or relax, we can take better care of ourselves and understand ourselves better.
That's why I made a list of 10 easy tips that have helped me include mindfulness in my daily routine.
Here are the first 5 tips... I hope you find them helpful!
Did you know that coloring and drawing patterns can be incredibly relaxing, especially when we're feeling stressed or overwhelmed?
When I was younger, I often found myself doodling patterns in my notebooks — typically during classes, I'll admit. But it wasn't out of boredom; rather, I was naturally drawn to it. I believe my brain discovered a natural way to unwind and concentrate. Drawing helped me listen more attentively in class and eased my anxiety.
Many years later, thanks to my profession and experiences with my own students, I understood why I was so inclined to draw and color patterns. It was my way to find focus, to find 'my center,' and to redirect my anxiety to something more positive. Without realizing it, I was practicing mindfulness through a simple activity like drawing doodles on a page.
Nowadays, research shows that drawing and coloring patterns can act as a brain exercise, especially for those with Alzheimer's or memory loss. These fun activities can also help children and adults with attention difficulties to focus by redirecting their extra energy.
Even though I'm no longer a teenager, doodling and coloring patterns remain valuable tools for me. Nowadays, I engage in these activities more consciously, recognizing how mindful coloring aids in slowing down, breathing deeply, clearing my mind, and minimizing overthinking.
Have you ever tried drawing or coloring patterns? 💛💜💛💜💛💜

Hi!
Little by little, with small tweaks here and there, I've added mindful practices into my daily routine. These practices have helped me reduce anxiety, stress, and the tendency to overthink.
Setting an unrealistic goal, like 'doing an hour of yoga every day,' didn't work for me. I ended up feeling frustrated and putting myself down. So, I started reading, investigating, and talking to more experienced people. That's when I decided to try something different and discovered that mindfulness is all about being focused on the moment and understanding yourself.
Nowadays, I do things that feel right for me and bring me happiness. That's how I know that I'm positively practicing mindfulness. It's not a 'to-do list'; it's a way of living!
Which mindful habits would you incorporate into your daily routine?" 🌷🌻

Hello!
A couple of weeks ago, I shared a quick video on 'painting with coffee' to promote one of our coloring books.
The positive response it received was beyond our expectations. Encouraged by this, I've decided to share a couple more ideas about sensory painting using natural elements.
This technique, which I've used with my students, helps create a delightful sense of wonder and relaxation.
Both children and adults find themselves captivated in the process of extracting pigments from natural elements, encouraging a genuine sense of joy. It adds an extra layer to Mindful Painting, forming a deeper connection with our senses and enhancing the overall relaxation of the experience. You become fully immersed in the moment, right from the beginning.
This time, I've posted a new video where I'm painting with different elements like coffee, turmeric, blackberries, and spinach. The idea was to showcase some of the variety of pigments and elements. The beauty of this technique is that you can experiment with as many elements as you'd like.
As a recommendation, just keep in mind allergies and individual likes and dislikes. The goal is to have a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable experience!
🎨✨ Which other natural elements could you use to paint? What about tea, pumpkin, or maybe chocolate? 🍫😊

Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present in the current moment, helping us focus on the now and fostering a sense of calm, self-awareness, mental clarity, and peace.
Did you know that coloring is more than just an 'activity for children'?
As adults, adopting coloring as a pastime can significantly reduce stress and promote relaxation.
Engaging in the rhythmic motion of coloring allows your mind to focus on the present, reducing overthinking and creating a soothing experience that eases tension.
So, the next time you find yourself in need of a break, consider reaching for a coloring book to unlock these soothing benefits and bring a sense of calm to your day!
